My brother suffered a stroke last week.

We are blessed to have the right people at the right time to get him the right attention for his survival and recovery.
His recovery will require some hard lifestyle changes.
Life is strange.
Skipping a regular workout is easy, and a disciplined exercising routine is hard.
An unhealthy diet is easy and often delicious, whereas a strict healthy diet could be boring and hard.
Chugging five large cups of tea or coffee is much easier than drinking 10 litres of water.
Idling time in the mobile app abyss is easy, but using focused time for working on your goals is hard.
Avoiding hard conversations is easy, but having an uncomfortable conversation is hard.
Coasting on your job is easy, but taking on challenging work is hard.
Oddly, life gets harder when we try to make it easy.
It will seem harder, but if we remain committed to a disciplined approach to every aspect of our lives, our lives will eventually become easy.
Easy has a cost.
Easy is like a mortgage. If you pay extra upfront, you end up paying less over time.
Are aspects of your life easier by your earlier choices, or are you accumulating painful debt to pay later?
Until next week.
