Procrastination is a trap that we all fall into at one point or another.
Procrastination is a trap that we all fall into at one point or another. Even the most driven individuals need rest periods, but these breaks can sometimes lead to procrastination.
That is because countless distractions can hijack the small moments we take to refocus and get back to work.
To combat this, I use a technique called “Start Here.”
When I pause work on a project, I jot down the next three tasks I plan to complete upon returning. Then, I place the note in a visible spot, like a yellow sticky note on my laptop.
When it’s time to return to work, I look at the note and start where I left off. It’s a simple yet effective way to jump back into work without getting bogged down by procrastination.
Severe procrastination isn’t just frustrating; it’s a tragic loss of precious lives that disappears without a trace.
No need to beat yourself now.
