‘Tis the season!
quick read.
I struggle a lot with gift-giving, especially with kids, and eventually end up giving cash.
This year, I am trying to focus on the meaning — not the value — of the gift. We believe recipients care most about the price tag, but it really is the thought that counts.
If you’re unsure what gift might be thoughtful, don’t try to read the other person’s mind. Just ask! People usually appreciate gifts they explicitly request more than those they passively receive.
Stay tuned for more.
Warmest,
Razak
