Reclaim | Life Series

Our basement renovation is done…well, almost!
quick read.

We are in the 10th week of getting our basement renovation, and I have to admit that it has been an emotional roller coaster ride all along. From possibilities at the beginning to the ups and downs of exhaustion to despair, frustration, new hope, and finally, the joy of completion. The contractors occupied the piece of the basement real estate we called our home for all that long period, and though they did not inhabit the place each day, they had their belongings marking their claim to the property.

Although it’s not finished, we can move a few things into the new space now, and it feels like reclaiming our property.

The house was ours all the time, and the outsiders were dwelling inside it with our permission.

What else do you think you own but don’t have any control over it?

Reclaim your attention and focus on what you are reading, watching and listening to. They have your permission, but you need to reclaim your space if they do not enrich your life.

Reclaim and regain your freedom.

Thank you for reading.

Bye for now.
