We are living in unprecedented times.
Read time: about 1 min 1 sec.
Panic, grief and chaos abound us.
We are scared for our lives and the lives of our loved ones.
Our normal regular routines have been turned upside down.
We are forced to lead our lives a bit differently.
Winter seems to have become longer.
We seem to be getting punished for no fault of ours.
Relationships have lost their personal touch.
Life seems to have taken to hibernation.
Hope seems to be away as if it’s keeping social distance as well.
All the above appears to be true in today’s time.
But, what is also true is that this is not permanent.
The moon fades and appears again.
The Sun sets and rises again.
Winter ends and makes way for spring
Trees shed and come alive again.
Birds migrate and come back.
Nothing is permanent.
This shall pass too.
Normalcy will get restored.
Things will settle down.
It won’t be easy, but it will happen.
And, when the world recovers from this long severe cold, we shall find ourselves in a better place. A place where we have a better appreciation for our health, food, relationship, our means of living, and comfort. A place, hopefully, where we will be disciplined to stop this happening again.
Meanwhile, let’s practise patience and kindness with no restriction.
Stay safe, stay hopeful.
