Next Monday | Life

There is no Next Monday in a week.

For years, “next Monday” was my favorite excuse. Whether it was during my studies or early in my career, I convinced myself that I needed more time to plan, prepare, and perfect. But here’s the hard truth: that Monday never came.

I fell into the trap of procrastination, mistaking endless planning for actual progress. It wasn’t until I re-evaluated my habits and shifted my mindset that I started seeing real results. The secret? Tackling big tasks by breaking them into small, actionable steps.

Here’s what worked for me:

1️⃣ Identify the task you’ve been avoiding.

2️⃣ Break it into tiny, manageable actions.

3️⃣ Set a timer—15, 20, or 30 minutes—and just start.

Momentum is a game-changer. Once you take that first step, the next one feels easier, and before you know it, you’re making progress on what once felt overwhelming.

And let’s be honest—how many of us wait for the “perfect time” to start? Whether it’s a new week, a new month, or even a new year, we often lose steam just a few weeks in. So why wait? Take a moment today to reflect on your priorities, break them down, and take that first step.

What’s one task you’ve been putting off?

I’ll be back with more next week.

Stay tuned.
