In our fast-paced AI-generated world of communication, it’s more crucial than ever to reflect on what we write or say. I read somewhere the following, and it just made sense, so I thought of sharing.
Before we speak or write, it’s vital to pause and ask ourselves:
Is this something that needs to be said?
Is this something that needs to be said by me?
Is this something that needs to be said by me right now?
Is it kind?
Is it true?
Is it necessary?

By asking these questions, we engage in what is known as the WAIT strategy: “Why Am I Talking?” This approach not only helps us reflect on our intentions but also ensures that our contributions are true and meaningful.
I’ll be back with more next week.
Stay tuned.
