So many commas… | Life

How many commas does your bank balance have?
Quick read.

What if you had a big bank account and owned all the expensive toys, but you had to give up everything else you care about? What if getting that wealth meant losing the best years of your life? What if you had to work harder each year than the last? What if this wealth cost you your health? What if you had to trade your youth for it? At the end of your life, would you wish for more money or for more time with your grown kids, a better marriage, close friendships, or spiritual peace?

Here’s the truth: all of these things need time, energy, and focus. If you think money alone will make you happy, you might miss out on what truly enriches your life. Chasing wealth often makes us overlook the priceless treasures that matter most. Having a lot of money may make you temporarily happy, but it can never make up for the time you’ve lost with loved ones, declining health, or meaningful relationships.

As we pursue material things, we should consider what we are willing to give up and if those sacrifices are worth it. True happiness comes from building relationships and spending time on what really matters. Focus on creating a life full of experiences and connections. They are what truly define our wealth in the end.

If your life consists of just large bank balance with numerous commas and nothing else, then your life is like the numbers after the decimal point.

I’ll be back with more next week.

Stay tuned.
