Are we progressing?
Quick read.

In a world of immense progress, we face a concerning conflict: the fight for survival despite having plenty. While we uncover cosmic secrets and land probes on distant planets, we are still grappling with the challenge of providing basic needs like food and shelter to a vast majority of Earth’s population.

It’s ironic that as we marvel at images from Mars rovers, while millions lack clean drinking water or a safe place to sleep. This disparity raises tough questions about our priorities and ethics.

Our advancements in agro-technology have revolutionized farming, yet the resulting abundance fails to reach empty plates worldwide. We must question whether technological triumphs are truly progress if they don’t uplift all segments of society equally.

Perhaps real progress lies not in conquering new frontiers but in addressing these endless inequities.

I’ll be back with more next week.

Stay tuned.
