How to criticize something you disagree with
Make an effort to eloquently and accurately convey your opponent’s viewpoint, leaving them impressed and grateful for your ability to articulate it.

Take into account any areas of agreement, even if they are not commonly accepted beliefs.

Acknowledge any insights or knowledge you have gained from your opponent.

Only after following these steps should you proceed to present your own rebuttal or criticism.
