Knock on your door | Life

There’s a knock on your door.
quick read.

Imagine you are having one of those picture-perfect family breakfasts today, kids laughing and everyone chit-chatting – when there is an unexpected ring at the door.

A well-presented stranger is on your porch, and he poses a question that completely takes you by surprise.

He asks to borrow your kids for a day, promising they’d be well-cared for, but without any contact from you. Pretty wild, right?

Naturally, you will decline.

It’s easy to close our doors to a stranger with an outrageous request, but it seems like as a society, we’re metaphorically doing the same thing when it comes to ignoring these global issues.

These distant tragedies somehow feel less real, but they’re not.

I’m sharing this with you because I know you’re someone who cares deeply about these issues too.

I’ll be back with more next week.

Stay tuned.
