Have you noticed how the world is getting hotter, not only in terms of climate but also in terms of our interactions? It’s like we’ve slipped into this paradox where the more we advance and acquire, the less we seem to connect genuinely with those right next to us; neighbours turn to strangers and sometimes strangers feel like better companions than friends.

It’s fascinating, isn’t it? The masks are falling away, raw truths are revealed but often ignored because there’s comfort found in well-crafted fictions. Shouting lies is becoming almost indiscernible from whispering truths, and despite the freedom to communicate instantly, the authentic connection feels like it’s on the endangered list—a luxury item not everyone can afford.
In the midst of such abundance, we’re staring at stark poverty—not just materially but in the scarcity of the soul. How do we balance on this tightrope of progress and preserve the essence of our humanity?
Automation and industry are propelling us into new realms every day, but what about our inner landscapes?
I’d love to hear your thoughts on this!
I’ll be back with more next week.
Stay tuned.
