Killing and violence against innocent people, whether oppressed or oppressors, is never justified.
Throughout history, there have been instances where tyrant governments have taken control of nations and treated their citizens unjustly and cruelly. In these situations, the oppressed naturally desire freedom and justice. However, those who bravely resist oppression are often wrongly labelled as tyrants.
Under authoritarian rule, citizens lose their basic rights and freedoms and live in fear, censorship, and brutality. Tyrant governments use propaganda and manipulation to maintain power and portray resistance as rebellion. As a result, it becomes difficult to distinguish between the oppressor and the oppressed, as the government manipulates public perception.
The involvement and support of the international community are crucial, but differing perspectives and geopolitical interests can complicate matters. Some nations may choose to ignore the suffering and support the tyrant.
We need to recognize the complexities of such situations and support the oppressed in their pursuit of freedom and justice.
The right is the right side.
I’ll be back with more next week.
Stay tuned.
